Article 1 (Purpose and Applicability)
① These Terms and Conditions aim to define the rights, obligations, and usage procedures between the Company and its members regarding ticket payments and cancellations/refunds through the electronic payment processing services provided by Splap Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Company’).
② The Company is a telecommunications sales intermediary and is not the organizer or party to the event. The authority to approve refunds rests with the Host, and the Company performs only payment processing and intermediary roles.
③ Paid tickets purchased using the payment services provided by the Company shall be refunded in accordance with these Terms.
④ Direct deposits to the Host or external payment methods are not subject to these Terms.
Article 2 (Definitions)
The definitions of terms used in these Terms are as follows:
① ‘Host’ refers to the organizer who creates the event and sells tickets.
② ‘Guest’ refers to the individual who purchases a ticket to participate in the event.
③ ‘Ticket’ refers to an electronic admission pass granting the right to participate in the event.
④ ‘Sales Period’ refers to the period from the ticket sales start date to the end date set by the Host.
⑤ ‘Discount Coupon’ refers to a percentage or fixed amount discount benefit applicable when purchasing tickets.
Article 3 (Payment Processors)
① Stripe: Processes payments in US Dollars (USD) and other international currencies.
② Toss Payments: Processes payments in South Korean Won (KRW) and related simplified payment methods.
③ Payment fees and refund policies apply according to each payment processor's terms.
Article 4 (Ticket Types and Purchase)
① Tickets are categorized as follows:
Event Participation Ticket (Single Entry): Ticket for one-time participation in an individual event
② Ticket purchase is possible under the following conditions:
Within the sales period
Within the remaining ticket quantity limit
Within the event participant limit
③ The maximum purchase quantity is limited to the lesser of the remaining ticket count or the remaining participant capacity.
Article 5 (Pricing and Payment)
① Ticket prices are displayed in the base currency (USD, KRW, etc.) set by the host.
② The available payment methods and their respective statuses are as follows:

③ Guests pay only the displayed ticket price. However, if the guest's card issuing currency differs from the ticket sales currency, the card issuer or bank may impose separate currency conversion fees, which are unrelated to the Company.
Article 6 (Payment Fees)
① Payment fees are borne by the Host; guests pay only the displayed ticket price.
② Fees Billed to Host

Simple Payment (Card): 1.45-1.55% (VAT excluded)
Simple Payment (Points/Money): 3.4-3.5% (VAT excluded)
Stripe: 2.9% + $0.30, plus 1% if the card issuing country differs, plus 1% for currency conversion
③ Fee Handling for Refunds
Payment fees are not refunded to the host upon refund.
Guests bear no fees related to refunds.
Article 7 (Discount Coupons)
① Discount coupons are categorized as follows:
Fixed-rate discount: A fixed percentage discount off the ticket price
Fixed-amount discount: A specific amount deducted from the ticket price
② Fixed-amount discount coupons are applied based on the currency specified when the coupon was created.
③ Coupon usage must meet the following conditions:
Within the coupon's valid usage period
When purchasing an applicable ticket
When there are remaining coupons available
Article 8 (Refund Policy)
① Setting Refund Policies: Hosts may set their own refund policies for each event.
② Refund Methods
Automatic Refund: Refunds processed automatically when a guest requests a refund
Approval Refund: Host reviews individual cancellation requests and decides to approve or reject
③ Cancellation Procedure
Guest requests cancellation
Processed automatically or reviewed by the host based on host settings
Processed if refund is approved
④ Host Response Deadline
Hosts are encouraged to respond within 72 hours of receiving a cancellation request.
If the host does not respond within 7 days, the guest may request mediation from the company.
⑤ Refund Period: Up to 1 year from the payment date

Article 10 (Refund Amount Upon Cancellation)
① Refund Amount (Upon Host Approval)
The Guest receives a full refund of the actual amount paid.
Even when using discount coupons, the Guest receives a refund for the actual amount paid (the amount after discount).
② Partial Cancellation
If multiple tickets were purchased, only some tickets can be canceled.
Even with a partial cancellation, the Guest receives a full refund for the payment amount of the canceled tickets.
③ Fee Handling Method
Guest: No fees incurred when canceling participation
Host: Payment fees incurred during the original transaction are not refunded and remain the host's responsibility
Example: For a 100,000 KRW ticket refund, the guest receives the full 100,000 KRW refund, but the host does not recover the payment fee incurred during the transaction (approx. 1,595 KRW, VAT included)
④ Fee losses due to refunds are considered part of the host's business operating costs.
Article 11 (Refunds for Tickets Purchased with Coupons)
① When refunding tickets purchased using a discount coupon:
The guest receives a full refund of the actual amount paid (the amount after the discount was applied).
The host does not receive a refund for the payment fee on the discounted amount.
② Coupon Recovery Policy:
Recoverable Coupons: Automatically recovered upon refund and can be reused.
Non-Recoverable Coupons: Expire upon refund and cannot be reused.
Recoverability is set by the host when creating the coupon.
③ For fixed-amount discount coupons, the discounted amount may vary upon repurchase after a refund due to exchange rate fluctuations.
Article 12 (Dispute Resolution)
① Disputes with Hosts
If a host unreasonably refuses to cancel a booking, the guest may request mediation from the company.
The company may mediate by reviewing both parties' positions, but the final decision rests with the host.
② Dispute Resolution via Payment Processor
Toss Payments: You may utilize Toss Payments' dispute resolution process.
Stripe Payments: You may request a chargeback through your card issuer.
③ Important Notes When Filing a Dispute
Unjustified chargeback requests may result in restrictions on future service use.
Submission of relevant supporting documentation may be required during dispute resolution.
Article 13 (Refunds When Host Cancels Event)
① If the event is canceled due to the host's circumstances:
Refunds are processed automatically without the host's approval.
Guests receive a full refund of the amount paid.
Fees incurred during payment are not returned to the host.
② Costs borne by the host:
Payment fees for the original transaction (non-refundable)
All fee losses due to bulk refunds
③ Refunds upon event cancellation are processed mandatorily, regardless of the host's refund policy.
Article 14 (Reasons for Refusing Refunds)
The host may refuse cancellation and refund in the following cases:
① If the event has already started or ended
② If it falls under the non-refundable conditions specified by the host in advance
③ If the refund policy period agreed upon at the time of ticket purchase has expired
④ If the ticket was purchased through fraudulent means
⑤ If the refund period (1 year from the payment date) has expired
⑥ If it falls under other reasonable grounds for refusal of refunds determined by the host
Article 15 (Pre-Purchase Confirmation Items)
① Guests must confirm the following items before purchasing tickets:
The refund policy set by the host
Refund eligibility period and conditions
Event details and participation requirements
Whether ticket transfer or resale is permitted
② Purchasing a ticket constitutes agreement to the host's refund policy and terms of use.
③ Refund policies and terms of use may vary by event, so verification is required for each event.
Article 16 (Ticket Transfer and Resale)
① The host determines whether tickets may be transferred or resold, and this is specified in the event description.
② Unless otherwise specified by the host, tickets are valid only for the purchaser.
③ The company shall not be liable for any issues arising from unauthorized resale.
Article 17 (Special Provisions)
① Changes to the payment processor's policies shall take precedence over these Terms.
② For unverified payments via Stripe, additional fees may be charged to the host in case of fraudulent transactions.
③ Additional payment regulations and restrictions may apply per country.
